City View
You are welcome to join City View, an Emerging Quaker worship gathering, in Asheville. Join us as we seek to draw closer to God and experience Christian community with others on their journey of spiritual discovery. Our worship atmosphere is comfortable, honest, and engaging — a place to be yourself while you experience God’s love and power.
Although we are a small gathering of Jesus followers we have found that by being authentic we have a greater impact in the world. In worship we celebrate the story, love and power of God. In fellowship we encourage and depend on one another as we grow in our spiritual awareness and power. And with our hands we work to transform the world around us. If you are looking for a church where you can get lost in the crowd, City View may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for a life transformation, you may have found a home.
Worship
We are attempting a genuine approach to worship that leaves no doubt that we are in the presence of God. It is not about clever preaching, great worship bands, or high drama. It is about people experiencing the presence of Jesus in our midst.We are Experiential
